Paid time off days
I have a question about how to determine paid time off days and whether or not the paid holidays are included. Reflecting on work-life balance, how important are these vacation days for someone just out of college?

PTO generally refers to days given to you by your firm for you to take as you see fit (vacation). Some firms will bucket sick days into this, others won’t (I.e. unlimited sick days that don’t count against your PTO).
Holidays are separate, most banks will follow stock exchange holidays.
Importance depends on the individual. You want to have at least some time off to take care of necessities that pop up.
