Profiting from Feminism: Investing in Popular Anti-Depressent and Pet Food Manufacturers?

My investment experience is in the quant space, but recently I've been pondering how to take advantage of the rise in feminism across the western world. My hypothesis is that, as "Millennial" and "Generation Z" women begin approaching the ages of infertility (40+), there will be unprecedentedly large percentages of the female population that become dependent on products such as antidepressants and painkillers and resort to the ownership of pets for companionship. I haven't done any extensive research into these ideas as of now, but I think this rise in feminism could potentially result in some unique and lucrative investment opportunities.

Has anyone else thought about this?

I realise your post is meant to be facetious, but I think investment hypotheses that are based on the biological certainty of infertility will have a greater probability of being successful.

We know a number of things:

(1) There is 100% chance of infertility; (2) female humans are programmed to seek successful reproduction above all else; (3) all humans are emotional creatures, but the female brain is inherently more emotional than those of males; (4) the failure to successfully reproduce causes significant mental distress to female humans (likely due to (3)); (5) women tend to act (consume) based on emotion.

Also consider the scale on which these demographic changes are taking place.

From here, could we not build plausible investment hypotheses?

STDs among males is more lucrative.

Hilariously accurate, but I don't know how much of an actual rise has taken place. Feminism is less popular than ever among women according to some recent polls. Now you might still be on to something if you want to talk about these same things in relation to the rapidly increasing percentages of the population that are addicted to social media.

You were in the right track thinking to get ahead and find the right investment based on the changing social landscape. And then you had to come up with such an asinine insulting idea. Go ahead and throw the MS people but seriously WTF.

Like the unadjusted- only with a little bit extra.
