Proposal: WSO Mental Health Peer Groups

I think other forum users will agree that the frequency of mental health posts has been increasing on this site.

Between the shitposting and god-awful bank tierlists, I think it would be highly beneficial for the community to create an open peer group that can meet weekly or monthly to discuss mental health topics.

As someone in finance, I often find it hard to explain how I'm feeling to regular peer groups. Being completely honest, I don't think typical peer groups can offer the same thing being that users on WSO and in finance largely have higher drive than the average person, making these typical peer groups less effective as we find it harder to relate.

I know personally being able to talk with someone else in my position is infinitely more beneficial, and there are certainly enough of us in finance with these challenges.

Patrick, is there any way we can make this happen? I'd be happy to help set it up if enough people saw it as a beneficial resource.

I would propose it is kept virtual, anonymous, with a moderator present.
