Protests - How many people genuine vs. taking advantage? Separately, what are the legislative impacts from the protest?

Curious to get your guys takes. Saw several articles in WSJ and FT (https://www.wsj.com/articles/looting-is-second-bl…) discussing not only that looting is rampant, but likewise that many of the ones that are hurt even more are URM small businesses (who often don't have insurance and quantifiably less cash on hand vs. whites / asians).

What % of those 'protesting' out there do you think are genuine vs. taking advantage of the chaos (like my boy Peter Baelish says, chaos is a ladder) to loot? I've seen no figures around this and generally have stayed away from the newsflow (being both crushed with work and honestly things are already crappy with COVID, why add to it), so just curious to get your takes. While public sentiment is outraged, will excessive looting turn attention away from BLM or potentially even hurt it (or have no material impact at all)?

Separately, how do you see this playing out from a legislative standpoint? Read another article discussing everything from baby bonds to reparations (which have been discussed for many years now). Do you think any of it actually gets passed, either now or over next decade?
