Something I started to do when networking was at the end of the conversation I would say, "is there anyone else you recommend me talking to? I'm always trying to make meaningful connections." Hopefully the person you're speaking with can drop a name or two and they'll either help you get in touch with them or you can just message them after and be like hello, I recently connected with person A to discuss blah blah blah and he recommended that I should speak with you to gain insight about opportunities at your firm or whatever.
What if they don’t reply after you asked them to recommend you someone to talk to. Would you still recommend reaching out to other people in the same group independently?
