Raj Rajaratnam gets 11 years

The trial is over, and the fat cat (literally, that is one fat mofo) is going to jail for a decade. Raj is 54 now and will be 65 when he exits prison assuming he actually serves the whole thing. Of course, we all know he'll get probation in a year or two and maybe be confined to one of his mansions. Not bad for someone who made up to $75m illegally.

SophieinBKAnd the homeless guy who steals $100 gets 15. Outrageous. He should be cell mates with Bernie Ebbers until he is 85.

Is there anything specific you are referencing for 15 years for stealing $100 dollars? I understand your point, but I do not think it's common practice to sentence people for 15 years for $100 theft. Although I am no JDOasis user.
