Rant on Black Professionalism Expectations in IB. Am I wrong?

To start, I'm a generally conservative guy who hates victim nonsense, but does anyone else think the professionalism expectations for black men in IB are a bit unfair, specifically for hair? Essentially all black men in IB are expected to get a military buzzcut or super super short fro and anything outside of that is not accepted. Yeah white guys can't have really long surfer hair, but they get way more variety in their choices, and they even have a Patrick Bateman type hairstyle which is kinda long and badass. As a black student vying for IB, it is a bit offputting that I'm expected to cut my hair to military length while my straight hair peers can have longer more stylish hair. I know it's a kind of trivial thing to complain about, but straight-haired people, imagine if you were also expected to keep your hair length below an inch. I imagine you would be kind of pissed off too.
