Whole Foods Tenderloin (Bison or Cow) with mashed potatoes and asparagus with grass fed butter on everything.

Cool - the trick to the asparagus is to steam them until they are 85% cooked (taste them) and then throw them on a skillet with sea salt, pepper and butter and pan fry them really quick to get the perfect texture.

Steak is easy one, reverse sear it and finish it over cast iron. Eat with twice baked potato and spinach.

Grilled oysters - shuck some oysters and put some sort of butter marinade. (Ex - https://cooking.nytimes.com/recipes/1018899-grilled-oysters-with-hot-sa…)

Chicken fried rice - mad easy and tasty. Just need to cook rice ahead of time.

ribs - assuming you don’t have a smoker doing in the oven is easy and tasty, just takes a while

here's a twist: just banged out some excellent beef short ribs in the slow cooker

Agree with the ribs in the oven. I just started making them. Add rub, cook them on 250-275 for 3 hours tightly wrapped in foil. Then open the foil up, put BBQ sauce on and broil on high for 5-10mins to crisp them up. Falls off the bone.

Also started doing briskets in the crockpot. They're pretty good just miss the smoke flavor of a smoker, but you gotta make do when you live in an apartment.

It's great that you're using a rub and slow-cooking them in foil to lock in moisture and tenderness. Adding BBQ sauce and broiling them at the end gives them a nice caramelized glaze.

When cooking briskets in the crockpot, what kind of seasonings or flavors do you typically use?
