Respect for chess hustlers

Some of these chess hustlers have ratings around 2000. It takes dedication and serious studying to get to that level of understanding of the game. Obviously there are the cheaters out there using sleight of hand, but still impressive seeing a legit player. I used to play quite a bit and had a peak of 1500. Most of those dudes would easily outplay me.

Also curious if anyone here plays as well

I did nationals in HS.  First of embarrassingly many flights from LGA/EWR to MCI.

Never broke 1400. I did really love Bughouse.  I hear it's big at Jane St. but the coworker who jumped there was never a chess guy.

The only difference between Asset Management and Investment Research is assets. I generally see somebody I know on TV on Bloomberg/CNBC etc. once or twice a week. This sounds cool, until I remind myself that I see somebody I know on ESPN five days a week.
