Russians. Paying one-year grad school fee in London with their credit cards, just like that.

Yeah. I was in Shanghai and met up with these two Russian chicks at Cloud 9 cafe in the Grand Hyatt. I was with my friend Johnny. This girl we knew went to Columbia U but just came over to meet us when she heard we were going to Shanghai.

Anyway, she said she was there to go shopping for the week, but her dad 'didn't give her enough money.' She told him she was going to Shanghai and he 'only' gave her $50K for the week. Needless to say, champagne was all on her even if it was Rose.

Also, she was upset at not getting the nicest suite in the hotel. This chick was 20 years old. She was blonde/hot though.

Not including trust funds, 100k/semester.

Couple kids with parents in the Forbes list. That said, often they didn't have access to much money (or, as much as you might expect).

Unforseen:
My arab roommate (part of the House of Serafi in Saudi Arabia) used to play $500 black jack hands regularly at the casino (we were 16)

The arabs are so nouveau riche.

The way this kid splurged wealth was crazy. He had more prada shoes than most women, wouldn't flinch at the tought of anything being expensive....and he would show me pics of him back at home that would blow your mind

Ya, some of the rich I know just live normal lifestyles. They have nicer clothes and travel a bit more but have a normal size house, no helicopters or planes, none of the bs lifestyle you would expect more on Cribs. That stuff just seems so third worldly and unnecessarily extravagant to them and me now. That said, its their choice if they want to waste their money and spoil their kids like that. The people I know who have rich families who aren't going to get anything until their parents die seem to be much more self sufficient than the people whos parents spoiled them and have trust funds which theyll collect earlier in life.
