Ruined a pitch by blowing up the client bathroom

Currently interning at a regional boutique. Spent most of last week working with my analyst on a pitch deck for a locally based potential client. At our shop we have a large conference room, that has a bathroom right across from it. This is, by far, the nicest bathroom in the office. Last Friday, earlier in the day, I needed to take a massive dump. Knowing that this one may take a minute, I went to the nice bathroom upstairs. After an absolute battle on the porcelain I washed up and went back to my desk. That afternoon the client came and reviewed the deck with my MD and VP. I was not in the meeting, but shortly after the meeting my MD came to the bullpen and asked if anyone had used the bathroom that day. No one admitted to it. The MD said that from now on, no one would be able to use the bathroom upstairs and went to his office. Just got word today that we lost the bake off. I feel terrible and not sure if I should come clean to my team about what happened. If it comes out that I was the one who did it could it impact my return offer?
