A see you tomorrow, is fairly common.
I think it depends more on how much you’ve interacted with the other people in the office either close to leaving or throughout the day. If they’re clearly locked-in /busy I wouldn’t disrupt them, I’d either direct it at someone else or leave.
Fairly standard procedure I would have thought.
