Seeing college friends postgrad

What's up guys. I accepted a job on the opposite coast from from college friends and am starting to have some anxiety about losing touch with them long-term. I know with covid it's hard, but for those of you that moved away for postgrad how often do you see your friends from undergrad? I was thinking of trying to set up a yearly golf trip or something with the boys, but curious to hear everyone's response.

I'm actually going through something very similar right now. Fortunately I am much closer than coast to coast. (about 2 hour flight) I know time is very limited, but my buddies and I love golf and we all got the PGA 2k21 game. We set up a little league that gives each guy 3 days to complete their rounds for our tournaments if we can't all play together. It's fun to just talk shit and feel like were all back at school again sometimes. I actually set up a golf trip in two weeks with my buddies it's funny you mentioned that. Fantasy football is coming up, try that with your friends. I just graduated this spring so it does suck not really getting that "graduation" closure.

Do as much as you possibly can to stay in touch. Then when covid finally fucking ends (if it ever will) go back and hit the bars and be a kid again on the weekends. Also, try not to talk about work too much with your friends back at school. Have fun. Best of luck my guy.

You're going to lose touch with most of your college friends. One day you'll wake up and 10 years has passed since you last spoke to one of your closest friends in college. Life moves on, people get married, have kids, mature in different ways. Time and distance changes everything.

You're going to make a lot of new friends and lose a lot of friends. Ultimately, there may only be a handful of college friends that you keep in regular contact with over the course of your life. For me, it's down to 2. I see both, on average, 4 times a year and we speak from time to time via text. My alma mater, by the way, is 4 hours away.
