Its bullshit because in our fields you have to be creative. You really have to think outside the box to come up with solutions....ie an investment banker coming up with a strategic M&A target There are multiple forms of creativity besides strumming a guitar or splattering paint on a canvas. Soho is just pissed because of the wealth that's associated with Wall St type jobs. They want the broke artists.
