Spring Week Baddies

Gonna be doing a few spring weeks in LDN. Seen some absolute stunners attending as well. Solid 10/10s. I'm tryna get a summer conversion, but I'm also tryna convert these baddies to my bedroom.

Any advice on how to approach it would be appreciated. Preferably from someone with XP in this field. Thanks.

Another one you could use is, you seem like a teaser for a prospective acquisition, I have a big LOI, so let me into your VDR to assess our potential synergies.

Solid question OP, ultimately it comes down to how bad you want each type of conversion.

I’ve personally found that the low tier semi-targets/non-targets (Manchester/Loughborough/Leeds) tend to be the easiest to impress whilst also being good looking. Diversity programme non-targets (Sheffield/Cardiff) tend to be the strongest bet, but obviously rare to come across.

Would avoid the pretentious semi-target type (Durham/Bristol/Exeter) - tend to be very focused on conversion (to a summer) as they’re trying to fill that chip on their shoulder from their oxbridge rejection (with a summer, not something else) - if you’re Oxbridge you’ll have an easier time converting this type due to halo effect but still an uphill battle. Have also found Warwick girls to fall into this category.

Targets (Oxbridge/LSE/UCL) are a bit of a wild card. Can range from extreme hardo type (LSE) to the fun out-going kind (UCL). A lot of internationals from these schools too, although they’re also very focused on conversion (visa reasons). Good looking Oxbridge girls are the top of the pyramid in terms of prestige, they’re likely to be unimpressed by your CV due to mass exposure to smart AND handsome guys (rugby captains/rowers/badminton players) - landing a conversion here is arguably more impressive than a top-tier spring conversion (BX/PJT RSSG/Barclays).

Hope this helped, good luck OP!

OP asking the questions I wished I asked during my spring weeks

Personally, the best risk-weighted method is through a swap trade. Standard rules apply, the easiest baddies to convert are 1.5-2 degrees of separation from your social circle. [I.e. Girl from another division (ideally mid/back office if you're front) or girl from another bank also having spring weeks]

Step 1: Get 2 man step. Your bro should also be 1.5-2 degrees of separation (in corporate sense)
Step 2: Invite other interns from your division out for a nights out, make sure baddies come along. Get your friend to do the same and meet up.
Step 3: Intermingle with the other interns. If all goes well intermingle again in a private setting

Or just be a bigger man than I am - shoot your shot direct.

Great question. It’s always a 2-man step in this game. Like someone else mentioned in the thread - you want a like minded individual to bounce off of to shine your personality.

Invite them to ‘post-work drinks’ whenever your spring week ends, and see where the night takes you. You are still 18/19 @ completing your first year at university, don’t think it should be that difficult.

Make sure you wear a nice suit. Good luck.
