Summer Intern Asking for Leave
I am going to start my summer internship soon and I realize that I have to go to a Visa application appointment that will happen during business hours, which means I need to miss around 2-3 hours of work. How big of a deal is this and how should I notify people on my team? Should I just let my immediate supervisor know that I need to be away for a couple of hours? Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks!
Tell your supervisor and the broader manager of the program (you should know who this is) as soon as possible.
