Thoughts? I commented a pro gun control rant here after Uvalde, so I do think the last thing we should do is flood the streets with more guns, but I also don’t disagree with the decision the Supreme Court made. New York’s law was set up such that you had to have a good reason to be issued a concealed carry permit, and most people ended up getting denied save for the wealthy and influential. To me that seems like a clear violation of the Equal Protection Clause in practice.
