The new business model for success: build up your social network and capitalize on your product for success

We saw Kylie Jenner do this with her makeup line, but also saw Jake Paul use his social network to leverage good pay/revenues in his boxing.

This seems to be the new business model:

- create your network/followers

- leverage your network/followers

So then it really comes down to what social media networks you're on and how many followers you have. Then, the question comes down to 'how to gain followers'. I think the answer here is to do what you're passionate about and then seek the right medium to gain traction.

Also, product placement seems very profitable.
