Things to Do/See in Copenhagen

Planning a trip to Copenhagen this spring. Any Scandinavian and EU monkeys got some recommendations for watering holes, unique things to do/see, places to eat? Generally prefer places that are transit-accessible, which doesn't seem to be a problem there as Copenhagen is renowned for that.

I'm also interested in urban planning and architecture, so if anyone has any unique recommendations for that (be it TODs, parks, neighborhoods, etc.), that'd be great.

I'm aware of most of the history and general stuff (Christiansborg Palace, Little Mermaid statue, Christiania, stuff like that), but if there's anything in particular that would be appreciated. Any and all recommendations welcome.

I love CPH, even though it's unlike say Italy, i. e. it's perhaps not going to blow your mind.

Having said that I'd say the most important thing – rent a bike (if you know how to use one). CPH is a bicycle capital of the world, and your experience is going to be so much more authentic (and convenient / cheap). I've rented one from Baisikeli, was a good place a few years back.

Oh and if you're into architecture, the Royal Library is pretty cool both from the inside (nice layout) and outside (boy, the way that they connected an old building to a new building – just awesome!). Glyptotek is also pretty nice.

If you're into the sunset x landing jets combo, go to Amager. The correct way to do it is (1) to buy some wine, wine glasses, and snacks; (2) put them in the basket in the front of your bike (which you absolutely should have at this point, just trust me); (3) get there and enjoy. Take a wind jacket with you, it's the Baltic sea!

If you come to battle, bring a shotgun.
