Thoughts on DeFi's 10% p.a. yield on USD?
BlockFi is offering 9.3% p.a. yield on USDT. Celcius Network is offering 8.88% (or 11.1% with CEL coin) p.a. yield on USDT/USDC/GUSD/BUSD. Compare this to 1-3% p.a. FDs by banks.
Both crypto firms held up well during the crypto crashes over the past years - there's counterparty/regulatory/security risks, but have all been well-managed with no major incident.
What are your thoughts on these investment instruments? Are they viable low-risk investments?
