Thoughts on relationship in IB

College sophomore really interested in IB. Am competitive applicant, with multiple related internships, high GPA, target school, high position in competitive investment club, and blessed with great connections. feel as tho i could get a job somewhere, even if not at BB

GF and i have been dating for 5+ years, have zero intention of leaving her, and if she tells me the hours are too much I will quit immediately. Any suggestions on how to make it work with the hours or should i explore a different area of finance?

College sophomore and been together for 5 years.

As someone who sacrificed career for “love” early on in college, don’t be too hasty. You’ll regret it.
The person you become at 25 isn’t the same person you were at 15 or 20. Life hasn’t hit you yet.
Your partner should be compatible with your life goals. If you start sacrificing true inherent aspirations for a girl this early on, it will just build resentment and end up breaking you apart anyway.

I know you’re basic thought is “oh she’s my life” and yada yada yada. But it’ll hit you 5 years from now if you leave a career just cause a 20 year old girl said it.

Disclaimer: the hours are too much.
