Tie or no tie for zoom interview?

Upcoming corporate finance interview at an investment bank with a divisional CFO. I’m going to wear a dress shirt and suit jacket but not sure if I should wear a tie. The guy I’m interviewing with is still WFH so I’m afraid he’s going to show up in a t-shirt and make me look like an idiot.

Even if he is in a t shirt - you should probably wear a tie. It’s not that much extra effort to put on or wear.

I would wear a tie 100% sure. You are the one who must make a good first impression, not him
