Tips on Talking Points for Selling Credit Analyst XP to a Risk Management Analyst Role

Hey Gang-

Decade long WSO user here. Life kicked my butt and I've been exploring careers for the past few months after quitting my job due to lack of progression available and other stuff. I found a place where I can still leverage my experience as a credit analyst while still being able to work for a mission-driven, not for profit organization (Credit Union). Its a great company and I really want to use my talents to lift up our communities, but I need some assistance. Before leaving my previous job I tried to lateral into Risk Management, but I've since forgotten a lot other than it being a great, stable long-term position where you can grow with the organization.

I'm wondering if you guys had any tips on talking points to focus on when trying to translate credit analyst experience to risk management. The HR rep noted that the hiring managers were specifically curious about my experience as a credit analyst. All I can think about are soft skills. I'll be using AI and doing research of course, but I would appreciate your tips.

Thanks !
