I am in investment banking and due to regulations obviously i cannot trade in US securities in the sector i cover, need compliance to approve every trade, need a min holding period etc etc
however im an international and follow markets back home as well. my question is that can i just trade in stocks in the bourse in my home country? i will have no advantage whatsoever through my work in the US and there is no link.
