Using Excel add-ins during an internship
I've been trying to refresh my knowledge and familiarity with Excel in preparation for my internship. I have been using Macabacus in Excel, and I'm pretty comfortable and fast with it.
Are analysts/interns allowed to download and use these kinds of add-ins in Excel on their work computers, or are we only allowed to use firm-issued software? Would appreciate if someone with experience could chime in.
generally you can’t download your own shit, but I think a lot of firms do actually use macabacus
Your firm will have Mac or some variant of Mac that you'll use. Highly doubt that you'll have the option to use one that is different from what everyone else is using.
