Venture Capital?
Hey y’all how’s it going.
To offer background about myself, I attend Baruch College - Zicklin School of Business in NYC, majoring in Finance & Investments and minoring in Communications Studies and currently an intern in Sales & Trading.
I wanted to ask if anyone here knows of people who have pursued venture capital. If so what were their credentials (specialized degrees and experiences)? Would I need to obtain a specialized degree such as an MBA or a PhD to build links/experience or could my position be sufficient enough?
This is an industry that caught my attention a while back and I would love to be a part of this role later down the line. A lot of these people make profound impacts and are often times have tech/science backgrounds.
In advance, I appreciate any insight and pointers to do follow this path.

I hope those threads give you a bit more insight.
MBA could be helpful, but ultimately can be quite competitive since you're going up against post-MBAs who may have also worked as analysts at other funds. Networking is biggest factor imo.
