Wall Street: Future of Partial WFH
I understand there's been countless discussions on working from home over the last year or so. I'm curious what the ongoing future could realistically look like?
On a trading desk, I think working from home 1-2 days a week is possible, but the possibility of FT WFH in a team trading setting, is pretty close to 0 IMO.
I honestly think it'll be more common for MO/BO roles to benefit from this. The firm maybe saves on RE, keeps people happy. I think just the sheer amount of regulation and oversight required in a trading floor will make banks shy away from that to avoid unnecessary risk.
I wouldn't mind at all having Friday's WFH or something similar, though.
