Was money your No. 1 factor in choosing your career?

Why are you doing what you’re doing. I noticed a lot of people on my last post said that they wouldn’t be doing their job if they had lots of money. I wanted to know if money played a big part in deciding your career path right out of college/university.

Money played a big part in my career choice, but it wasn’t all of it. I chose to go into cre brokerage and later hoping to get into development. Will be well paid but if I really wanted to maximize earnings out of school I would’ve gone for the IB/PE/HF route. I wanted to at first but realized I liked real estate a lot more and so that is what I went after.
