WC Final: Spain v. Argentina

What are you talking about? Football season doesn't even start until September poser. 

Spain. Messi is the GOAT, but the rest of the Argentinian team are trash and infuriating to watch. I wanted to see France vs. England in the final, but both shit the bed in different ways.

If gods of football exist, Spain will lift the trophy on Sunday.

Messi is the undisputed GOAT, and nothing that happens on Sunday will change that. But this Argentinian team and most of their fans represent the very worst of sports. That arrogance, racism, constant cheating and lack of sportmanship. Really disgraceful behavior.

Spain are much more likeable. They play beautiful football and keep a low profile while dismanteling much tougher teams.

Argentina because Messi is the GOAT. All around a pretty good guy relative to most elite athletes 

Spain solely because of their support for Palestine. And for a similar reason, I am rooting against Argentina due to their Israeli ties.

I don't enjoy watching soccer / football so I wasn't planning on watching it anyway.

Spain is just more well rounded. Argentina has gotten to the finals on the back of luck and very good striking, but their defense and ball possession is not to the same tier as Spain. The pure striker formula works against teams where you can simply outclass their striking talent, as Argentina did against England. Spain, on the other hand, is extremely balanced, and so they can pretty easily shift from defense to attack. 

When your entire gameplan relies on 2 players performing incredibly against a team that can turn to almost anyone to play well, you're probably not winning.
