Wearing Ties 101

Just a PSA when you wear a tie. There is only one proper length.

"When you are standing straight, the tip of your tie should hit right at the top of your belt buckle or waist belt, and never above or below. Even if you are wearing a jacket and the bottom of the tie is covered, it should still rest in the correct place."

It is truly disgraceful to see an incorrectly worn tie.

Yes, I seek the perfect triangle and a proper dimple to gain tie perfection. Full Windsor all the way.

Also no button collars with ties.

Yes, precisely. No button crisp collars.

Also no ESPN analyst-style enormous full windsor knots - looks awful. I always rock a schoolboy knot given its simplicity, the slight dimple, and the slight sense of informality it adds to your tie. Half windsors are also good. But also nothing that looks like you're on the red carpet of the grammys dressed by tom ford with an eldridge knot that looks too busy.

Yeah exactly.

Depends on your height frame and shirt collar width

This tie length is atrocious, gronk

Man, there's just something about a fitted suit that just feels like crack in my veins. Can't stop swinging my cock around when I wear it, so maybe it's best that I only have a single good one...
