Wedding venues in Orange County, CA
So, we thought we had the venue figured out but due to some miscommunication and a fair share of bad luck - we're back to square one. We're getting married in September (don't say anything, I'm panicking already). We'll have 60-70 guests and need the venue for the reception only. Ideally, a beach location, but we're open to suggestions. Now, I'm checking a selection of Orange County wedding venues and with our date, the number of guests, and other filters you can set there, we're looking at the Inn at Laguna Beach, Ole Hanson, and Surf and Sand as top three candidates. Around 20k with catering and bar, which is our budget, we don't want to go above that. Gladly we can get instant pricing on this website I found otherwise this would take ages. So, has anyone had (or at least attended) a wedding in any of these locations? Or had a great personal experience elsewhere in OC? Thanks in advance!
The hotels in Laguna will be hard to get in for a solid weekend date in September given proximity but they are one of the best places to host a wedding in the OC. I have been to several there and the ones you stated are all great. Beautiful receptions on the beach, fun things like no shoes/laid by dress code. The hotels do a good job of hosting. I also recommend the Laguna Cliffs Marriott. They have a large grass lawn that overlooks the Dana Point Harbor and a stunning view.
If you can't get a spot in the OC, I recommend looking at Temecula Valley. The winery scene is next level and they make for good venues. I went to one last year and the wedding party did a winery tour in a party bus post-wedding. Great time. only downside is it'll still be a little warmer in Temecula in September, but starting to cool off in the evenings.
Who says “the OC”. i’ve never seen that included
Probably the same people who say “the 405” or “the 5”. Lived here my whole life and it’s just how I learned to say it I suppose.
Casa Romantica looks pretty cool in San Clemente, but I don't have firsthand experience with them. I saw they have some Sundays open in September.
This is a good suggestion. San Clemente is less well known than Newport Beach and Laguna Beach, but it is just as beautiful and great while also generally less expensive.
Yeah my sister lives in San Clemente. It is a really nice area.
