Weekly rentals in NYC

I am going to NYC for a week for vacation, and I noticed craigslist has 1 week rentals in the Bronx for one bedroom rentals with a shared bathroom and kitchen. Any experience with these one week rentals? It only cost $150, which worries me. That seems too cheap. Advice?

Edit: not considering the Bronx anymore, but does anyone have experience with one week rentals in NYC?

Sorry, I am an idiot, so I don't know nyc well, so are you saying the Bronx is cheap in general, or that the Bronx is scam paradise?

If you don't know what the bronx is, you're not ready to go to the bronx.

A weeklong vacation is best served by dropping some good cash to live in Brooklyn near the city. See if any space is open across the river in New Jersey - there are usually spots open in close proximity to the train into the city. Queens could be a good option as well, as can Roosevelt Island (if there even are such rentals there).

Edit: guy above me nailed it. Use that.

cant endorse this enough, great service. Went to Miami with airbnb and it was awesome all around.
