1 monitor is essential. 2 would be ideal.
Keyboard with a numeric pad.
Headphones with a mic on it that can be compatible with your computer.
Lenovo X1 carbons are generally well loved. I got one in 2015 and it runs fine, although my screen is starting to crap out on me. Havent been on the computer market in a while though so no too familiar with whats good nowadays.
also had a question on this. I have a apple laptop with an extra monitor. Will this be okay for IB summer intern? I heard most of it is just reformatting but should I buy PC?

Don’t listen. You are going to use a Remote Desktop connection if they don’t issue you a laptop. Meaning you will be using windows through their server. Spend 20 bucks on a decent windows based keyboard and mouse and you’ll be fine.
