WSJ/NYT for general news (becoming increasingly dissatisfied)

WSJ has these advertisements that constantly change every ~5 seconds or so. Wildly distracting as I’m trying to read the articles. I won’t bother torturing myself chatting with some Indian customer service rep to express my dissatisfaction.

They’re promotions for their various newsletters and podcasts so they don’t get flagged as normal advertisements by my ad blocker, so I have to manually block them and by the time I’m done, the whole page is a mess. Anyway that’s enough of my spergout.

WSJ has essentially transformed into a propaganda mouth piece for the military industrial complex.  Plus their normal financial news is pretty late at best these days as alternative information sources are 10x more common now.

I wouldn't say it is a conservative propaganda machine.  They are just having candidates on their show.  It just so happens that the Republicans are going through an actual primary process and the Democrats are running an incumbent so they are really only facing challenges from people who what to move the policy position one way or the other or by individuals who think this is a chance for a 3rd party to potentially have a massive impact.

Big macro voices guy. I also like the deep knowledge investing newsletter. Curious to hear if anyone has recommendations similar to macrovoices
