What are your Thanksgiving plans?

Who do you plan to eat dinner with? I’m really hoping my Dad’s neighbor invites us to dinner as I’m trying to avoid cooking. Wbu? Holidays with the family? Anyone working on Thanksgiving day? That’s hardcore.

I was gonna go with my mom and dad to Knoxville to visit my sister at school but then I realized I set up a show for my music project for the day after Thanksgiving so I'm not going with them to Knoxville anymore.

So you’re alone on Thanksgiving?

Maybe, I am not 100% sure yet. I do have some relatives in town and maybe I will go over to their house or something, if invited, although if not, then yes, I would just be alone on Thanksgiving.

Camping road trip up the coast of CA and OR - may or may not be alone. Regardless I find holidays spent in nature and on the open road rejuvenating moreso than being in the city

Sounds awesome. I love being in nature too - it is rejuvenating.

My Dad's Penn friend/neighbor never invited us to Thanksgiving Dinner, so I am cooking it myself. She started an oil fire the other day and the Fire Trucks had to come and spray down the kitchen. So I don't think she is cooking and it is probably just going to be my Dad and I. My mom can't really leave her skilled nursing facility. But, we will still visit there on Thanksgiving. I told my Dad last week that I'll probably cook steak, asparagus, and mashed potatoes and he said ok. Then today he said "I'd prefer to have a turkey breast." Well, I don't want to really cook turkey and all the places were sold out (Whole Foods completely sold out of all turkey sizes). So we are eating steak.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone.

What cut are you cooking? Ribeye would be my choice.

The important thing is never to let oneself be guided by the opinion of one's contemporaries; to continue steadfastly on one's way without letting oneself be either defeated by failure or diverted by applause.
