What do guys look for on dating apps?

You don’t always have to put that you are ‘incoming’. Just put your Industry and forgo listing the actual role itself. If they are interested, they will obviously ask what you do at some point. And that will give you a chance to mention you’re an incoming analyst. I also have a hinge account, but don’t take it very seriously.

My recommendation would be to focus on your career and not finding a partner at 21. Chances are you’ll be moving to a new city shortly where you’ll have plenty of opportunities to find someone who is up to your standards. You’re 21 and a chick, relax.

You can literally just put "looking for ambitious dudes for long-term relationship" in your bio and no I don't think that's "psycho". The best way is to be straightforward about what you want and what you're looking for. I mean it's fine that you don't wanna date people in certain professions due to personal preference but your attitude towards them in your post does make you sounds like a psycho. 

Honestly, I mainly look for hot girls. Show pictures of you doing fun shit. I don’t necessarily need a girl who’s a lawyer. That being said, showing that you have a degree/pursuing a degree is always a plus. I’m not looking for anything long term though, so this is just based on my situation at the moment.

guys look for a combo of looks + personality...we want a fun yet nurturing female.

Does Hinge work like Tinder where you have a say in who you match with? If so why match with people you are not interested in off the bat?

I'd say it less about what you do and somewhat more about what you write and the photos you put. Haven't looked at a lot of guys profiles, but the writing stuff for girls I see are pretty standard and boiler plate. 

" I like to go out but also like to stay in sometimes"

"I like to eat healthy but also enjoy pizza"

#1 - is she thin

#2 - does she have a cute face

#3 - does she seem cool - artsy, ideally no woke shit in her profile - obviously my idea of what is cool is specific to me

#4 - does she also want kids/relationship/otherwise aligned with what im looking for

I look at the following in that order - points 1-3 are pass/fail after that it's preferences mostly when talking to her. For your reference I am sub 25 IB analyst on Hinge/Bumble.

1) Smokes/Drugs/Tattoos/Nose ring -> pass

2) Education, did she go to a decent college if not pass

3) Is she overall fit (yes I fat shame) don't need to see abs but I want someone that appears somewhat sporty - I am a sporty person so I look for the same should I meet a significant other.

4) Does she seem interesting (ie does more than just speak about netflix and how passionate she is about 'fashion' because she has a chanel bag and being a 'foodie')
