The District of Columbia. It's full of a bunch of amoral psychopaths, deranged lunatics, homeless people, criminals, and people educated beyond commonsense who feel like they are badass because they live off the tax revenue of the nation. If you took away the tax revenue, the city would collapse back into its greghole.

Every other major city or state in America has to rise and fall of its own accord. D.C. is the only place that is propped up by the wealth of the entire nation. And it's so galling that Washingtonians don't seem to appreciate this fact or provide the slightest acknowledgment or gratitude. What's more, it's actually kind of a crappy place to live, despite the enormous amount of money that flows through it.

D.C. isn’t a state

It has 3 electoral votes for President, a non-voting representative in the House, and is almost certainly a future state. So semantics.

Yeah if we are considering all areas of the country despite the semantics of it not officially being a state (yet), I agree with you.

I lived in that area for about a year (NoVa) and generally grew to despise the gist of how things worked in the city and the people it attracts. I don’t really like talking to people about politics in general as I’m not a great debater when it comes to politics and have had many nights in the DC area coming down to blue people ranting and raving about their beliefs and shoving them down other peoples throats.

I quickly fled to NYC after a year and although it is mostly blue there as well, people don’t shove politics down your throat like DC and most of the talk in NYC is industry related or about business, which I like.

Funniest

Massachusetts because they never repair the fuckin roads and my parents and I spent cumulative thousands fixing damages to our cars from slamming gigantic potholes big enough for someone to drown in after a rain. Swear to god you can see bedrock at the bottom of these things. The streets in my old neighborhood look like Dresden after the allies bombed it and our town hasn't made an effort to fix it ever despite numerous complaints from residents. They just patch it poorly every year just so the plows can rip it up in the winter and yoss chunks of asphalt everywhere. Nothing like going out to shovel on a snowy day and eating shit because you tripped over a football size chunk of street hidden under the snow. Otherwise I love Mass.

Dayman?

Lmao as a fellow masshole can confirm our streets are absolute dogshit. From a bystanders view, you'd think I was a drunk driver swerving all over the road to avoid the potholes in my old neighborhood.

Mass is a goat state except for this haha. All four seasons, great people, great food, great sports, great history, great city in Boston, great beaches and vacation spots in Cape Cod. It’s really just the potholes

“When you pull on that jersey, the name on the front is a hell of a lot more important than the name on the back"

It is a goat state. It does blow my mind why they can't fix this, but its whatever I guess. Mass was such a good state to grow up in. I miss it (and New England as a whole) a lot now that I'm gone.

Fuck man I went to school in Boston and I swear man the soles of my shoe wears out like in 2 weeks

The fuck?  NJ is the best state.  Let's be honest most of you losers are gonna move out here or Long Island when you get sick of the city

Recently did a long road trip when I moved to NY for grad school. Going through the Midwest was fucking GRIM! I think the absolute worst state we stopped at was Indiana. What a fucking dump and the trash that lived there makes you want the US to get nuked by China or something

And bring on the MS I don't care. I also forgot, Indiana smelled terrible!

Every single person was fat. I am not making this up. Every single person we saw at every single stop we did was fat. Just fat hillbilly whites with their Big Gulps. We stopped to get gas as midnight at a gas station in Indiana and there was a line down all the way around the parking lot for the Hardee's drive through, at MIDNIGHT

Everyone there was so disgusting it made me ashamed to be American
