Humility - but don't brag about it.
I don't want to toot my own horn, but IMO both Jupiter and Yamaha produce the best trumpets in the world for all price classes.
I remember a Jupiter was the trumpet my older brother wanted for the longest time. He got it as his college marching band trumpet (Big 10 school) and his section sounded awesome when I heard them warming up on a game day a few years back.
Did he play Bb or cornetto? I don't know much about Burger marching bands, tbh, but apparently the cornetto or a piccolo are favoured over the straight trumpet there, no, since they are shorter less prone to hitting your foreman.
Now that I think of it, yeah pretty sure he had Jupiter cornet for marching and a Yamaha B flat for concert band.
Makes sense, a Yamaha Bb is as classic as can be, really. I trained on several shitty ones, but my latest and current one for over 12 years now is a very clear and melodic Jupiter Bb. But the "best", or at least most memorable tube I played on, was a reverse piccolo, a so called Bach trumpet. Heavenly, I tell you - reaching C3 was a piece of cake with it.
