Management consulting, but ended up going into corporate finance within management consulting.

Software engineer most likely, I majored in compsci
How about sales and trading? On my campus, there are few people networking into this roles
Being a doctor
Military was the backup plan, there’s no way I could work a regular 9-5. Looking back on it I should have gone into tech, that’s where the real money is these days.
I guess if I wasn’t going to work in a PE/corp dev/etc type M&A role I would have just done so as an attorney
If I didn’t need money, I would have studied classics and history and just been a local adjunct prof or high school teacher. I think we need more male teachers but it pays so little.
Otherwise I would have studied international relations and taken the foreign service exam. Would be very interesting to work at embassies and consulates around the world.
But I think realistically we all want to make a ton of money in investing or advisory / consulting work so we can afford the expensive things we enjoy. I love cars and watches and beautiful architecture too much to do a lower paying career.
Law was Plan A for a decade or so. Thank god that didn't happen.
