What's the endgame salary (plus bonus) for you?

Does anyone have a figure or range for your endgame total comp?

I feel most IB's at their retirement age cap out at $750k-1.25M total comp unless at a bulge in NYC. Is this your endgame salary (plus bonus) in your career?

Don’t really have an exact salary in mind but I want the following:

  • A house I’ve designed and love.
  • A summer house back in my country.
  • The ability to travel wherever and whenever.
  • The ability to give my future kids the childhood I never had. (Trips to Disneyland, private school if they want/need etc)
  • Ability to retire early (45-50) if I want.
  • Ability to pay for my kid’s college so he never has to turn down a dream college because of aid, like I did.

Idk if this is “cringy” or not but honestly it’s all I really want tbh.
