When did you buy your first property?

When did you buy your first property whether it be a condo, house, etc.? Currently have a bit saved up and have been thinking about pulling the trigger on a condo. This would effectively be the place I live in until I started a family / bought a real house.

Curious to see what consideration folks have given on whether to keep renting until they settle down into something more permanent vs. buying a condo prior to settling down.
