When should I move-in?
I am going to work in IB for a satellite office but have training in NYC for the month of July. The city I am going to work in has a very competitive rental market, especially around the financial district.
I am worried that I will have to start work soon after without having any of my apartments set up. When do people normally search for an apartment? When do people normally move in? Would it be smart to book a place/move-in before training to forego the hassle at the cost of 1 month's rent?
