When will you feel safe to return to the office?
Hey everyone,
The title says it all. We all have different risk preferences and feelings about COVID-19. When will you personally feel safe to return to the office? What restrictions would you like to see banks take in order to ensure our safety? This will vary by city and role (IB vs trading floors), but curious to see some input.
in the near term certainly. employers want people to get back in to get the business back on the road before a likely resurgence of covid late fall early winter.
Wouldn't bringing people back to the office too fast increase the likelihood of a resurgence? If we act smart, we don't need to have a 2nd wave
NEVER
I know for a fact there will be some people pushing to WFH as long as they can unless they are actually forced to. Know a couple friends planning on doing that because they love their time with their families...wonder when employers will draw the line? 2021?
Definitely up to the employer. I know Citi is allowing WFH indefinitely whereas MS has told their traders to expect to return to the office by mid-June in NYC
Citi is allowing it even for bankers and traders? Sounds too nice...
Felt safe the entire time
NYC?
Option of returning to office on a rotating basis (e.g. every other day/1-2 times a week for density and distancing reasons)? Now imo.
