I m living in the campus this year staying home all the time...
what’s your new year’s wish? I m hoping I will get a good summer internship in 2021z.
I'm going to start blackening some apples and garlic. I might work on making some puff pastry to make beef en croute or just buy some game and marinate it to cook on Friday. Other than that I'm going to cry myself to sleep. Maybe a sweet potato purée seasoned with foliage.
If you want I can share some pretty simple stuff you can make for yourself on campus. Back in my day I'd hoard certain food products and cook them in my dorm. HMU if you need any ideas.

I am currently in my house. My mom is hosting NYE at her house and my grandparents, my sister and her husband, and their 3 kids are coming. I'm on the fence about going because I break contact with my mom on and off and I hate being around my family. My wife is probably going to just take out 6 m/o baby because my mom was a shit mom, but she's a good grandma and I want my kid to have family relationships. And her 3 cousins (7, 3, 2) love her and I always see cute pics of her laughing with them so I like that. Only little bit awkwotaco part about not coming is my brother-in-law is a client of mine. But whatever. He'll be fine. I don't wanna see those people and have to go home and drink.
I saw a fun idea on reddit today if you have toddlers to set your clocks back and watch another time zone's ball drop and tell them how grown up they are for staying up so late. But it's really like 8 and then they go to bed and act normal the next day.
My mom's thing will end at like 8 and our baby is spending the night there because she watches her on weekends sometimes to give us a break. So she'll get home at like 8:30. We'll eat dinner and she'll go to bed and I'll probably be depressed and go down to the theater to watch space movies with only the subwoofer on. And I'll be sober the entire time as well.
I will go to the gym early, then eat some nice sushi...and finally...enjoy a nice 10 hour sleep session. I absolutely love crashing hard and sleeping a ton because I'm now an old man. Probably my favorite part about my usual Fridays.
