No specific fast food chain (or any restaurant) is going to breed bankers. However, I am a big supporter of having worked an entry or minimum wage level job. While not a life changing experience, those that work these types of jobs tend to show a little more EQ and "grit" than the more privlaged individuals who never had a job until after college.

I’ve noticed some of the best bankers previously worked at Jimmy John’s. Extremely fast-paced environment (hence the “freaky fast” motto), and they learn the skills needed to quickly deliver consistent, quality products at a moment’s notice, which is very valuable in the world of banking.

The open kitchen layout is also ideal for client-facing interactions, and you get great hands-on experience through handling the client’s meat and spreading your buns, another crucial skill needed to win business as you become more senior and transition to a sales role.
