Who's the best investor you know?

There was this really old Italian guy in my town, he worked minimum wage at a factory his whole life.  Never dated, no kids, no TV, no phone, never read a book in his life, dropped out of in eighth grade to feed his family.

But somehow this guy made shitloads off his investments.  Gave millions to the local schools, churches, community colleges, and museums.  Took his investing strategy to the grave.

Also my uncle used to run a hedge fund.  Typical Harvard UG -> Harvard Business school -> worked at hedge fund -> ran a hedge fund.  Dude is crazy rich but no cool story.
