Why all the RBC hate?

Toronto incoming analyst here. RBC is considered like the best office or at least one of the best office here. Still a bit new to this world, but not sure I understand why all the jokes on RBC from all the NYC people on this forum.

I think canadian banks are always gonna be seen as a little brother to the americans, despite great performance globally and in US. Same reason that american bank brand names seen to hold extra weight in canada because the US is canadas big brother when it comes to capital markets

You can’t take everyone from WSO seriously. 48% are role playing college kids / unemployed adults (like LowCaliberTalent and leafblower69), 48% are here to shit on others to make themselves feel better about themselves (like Smoke Frog), only remaining 4% are useful.

A top EB president (yes, president) once told me “Get some RBC experience kid and then we’ll take you,” prior to sponsoring. Listen to those who matter.
