Why did you choose to work in finance?
Hey my fellow monkeys,
Simple question. When people ask you why did you pursue a career at an investment bank or another finance role, what do you respond with? Is this also the true answer or are you uncomfortable saying the truth? Obviously, the remuneration package is the main reason but do you have any specific motivations. Just interested to see opinions.

Just meant the gruelling ones in terms of hours.
I can't sit still for more than 5 minutes, I love being around super smart people, and I am a workaholic. IB is an easy answer.
