Why doesn't WSO start a big law section
They're in the same racket as us and I'm sure it would pick up quick, so many of my friends in big law just use reddit right now

feel like WSO can take a lot their users, no? that looks more serious
TLS has been around just as long as WSO, if not longer and forums are a dying relic of the internet from decades ago. No use making a new one.
I used to frequent TLS when I lived in NYC and was gunning for law school at one point and met a bunch of Harvard and Columbia law school students at a Karaoke bar in Korea Town and had some good times.
Also though, I kept in touch with some people on Facebook and one Harvard Law grad in particular wrote to me after he finished law school and was at his Big Law job and said "I wish I never went into law." LOL
Hah, likewise man. I stay in touch with a group of people I met on that site, although less and less over the years. I clicked the link and tried to find my old posts but I genuinely forget my username it’s been so long.
One of my best friends says the same thing. M&A Big Law sounds miserable, more than banking
Yeah I've heard on M&A deals the lawyers do lots of the boring stuff and are jealous of the IB M&A bankers on the other side. They both work similar hours, but law is sooooo boring.
There used to be a JDOasis but it didn't take off.
