Why don't more so called Alpha-Dog Finance bros get prenupts?

Is it arrogance or are they scared of losing their pretty gold digging vapid fiancee. I really don't get it. The lifestyle itself is rife with divorce yet people continue to make the same mistakes time and time again.

I can't imagine. Perhaps they're deluded enough into believing that women will stay with them forever, and that even if the love is mutual, it will stay that way indefinitely.

They aren't alphas bro, they're just rich. On this forum it's common to believe being rich = being an alpha male. I think that's because there are so many betas who dream of their status changing once they get that fortune. But then again, I hate the whole alpha-beta label bullshit in general.

It's a complete misconception that they don't hold up in court. Hell, it might even be some gorilla marketing by feminists. Assuming that your future wife-to-be was of sound mind and body when agreeing to the prenupt, which is often done on video these days, then your shit should be completely 100% ironclad.

Euphoria. A high. Call it whatever you want. When you hit sky high levels, you start thinking you're completely invincible and that everything can and will be resolved in your favor. Thus, your wife will never leave you. You stop looking at the downside because everything is going the one way - up.

Also, they tend to select wives from good families, with lower divorce rates. And it's rare that a women leaves a man who is at the top of the food chain.

While Prenups are great, and assuming everything is kosher with the agreement, when it comes to marriage, prenups are not the first thing on people's minds. Additionally, a prenup only helps for assets acquired before the marriage. Once you begin to comingle funds and ownership, any new assets are harder to protect. At the same time, issues such as alimony and custody can be overridden by the courts despite what's written in the prenup. Then there's issues such as standard of living, which if a judge thinks is unreasonable under state law or public policy, can be overridden.

Additionally, as Sil said, you have to contend with the courts who can throw Prenups out and state laws which may be used to override certain terms in a prenup.
